M&Co
Fashion / Art Direction / Print

The project_
Get the look without breaking the bank.
The brief_
An invitation to design a range of material for the fashion retailer M&Co: A5 brochures, press advertising and large store-window panels. The business was about fashion at a fair price.
The observation_
The photography had to support that proposition. I worked with photographers, location scouts, wardrobe and make-up, with shoots planned in Scotland for locations in South Africa as well as studio work in Scotland. Good working relationships matter across that whole process.
The application_
My role combined design and art direction, from the planning of the shoots through to overseeing retouching. The images then worked across brochures, press and the scale of a shop window. For clarity, I inherited the logo. I didn’t design it.

Credits / Recognition
